Since 2002 Original Steve’s Diner has been the go-to place for Rochester’s breakfast and lunch cravings. The Original Steve’s Diner humbly began as a 44 seater in Penfield, NY. Since 2020, the enterprise has grown into a restaurant community including locations in Chili, Henrietta, and Victor, NY.

Original Steve’s is not just your average, run-of-the-mill diner. We focus on local ingredients sold by local vendors; it is our way of supporting and giving back to the independent businesses that have supported us going on 24 years strong. These fresh ingredients are crafted into our extensive menu that is constantly growing and evolving based on the requests and tastes of our patrons. Our menu has diner staples ranging from in-house roast beef sandwiches on kimmelweck rolls to your classic egg plates with homemade homefries, to over twenty different versions of the classic Eggs Benedict.

Many people come in for the classics but keep coming back for our lovecakes - pancakes the size of a steering wheel! Craving the OGs like chocolate chip and blueberry? We got you covered. Looking for a pancake wrapped up and stuffed like a cannoli? Yup, we got that too! And yes, they really are that big! Our OSD Signature Dishes offer diners our unique twist on breakfast sandwiches, Greek style-eggs, and breakfast bowls. We say that you’ll never leave Steve’s hungry and the proof is in our portions.

Our menu offers serious variety built on diner classics from benedicts and breakfast sandwiches to French toast and omelettes. Our Lovecakes, and the 37 variations, is our claim to fame but there is plenty more waiting to be explored under our OSD Signatures. The Mac Daddy Sandwich packs a punch serving an entire breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, cheese, and onion between grilled sourdough bread. Dishes like the Hangover and the Dumpster Plate will cure just about anything - with hearty portions the Hangover is full of homemade corned beef hash and home fries with eggs smothered under chili and cheddar cheese while the Dumpster is everything and the kitchen sink for when you can’t decide what you are craving the most. Going light? Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and nuts served alongside fresh eggs will leave you feeling full without the calories. Or better yet, eggs cooked with authentic Greek flavors like pure olive oil, fresh lemon, and aromatic oregano in dishes like the Green Grecian or Village Style Eggs will send your taste buds on a one-way flight to Greece. Incredibly good breakfast/lunch restaurant! We were in Rochester from Kentucky and went for lunch and food was delicious. I forgot our waitress's name but she was very sweet and helpful. Service is good.

Kid says best place ever. They have a while menu of Eggs Benedict and a whole menu of pancakes including Cannoli and NY cheesecake. Good wraps and sweet potato wedges. Nice people with good service.
